Thought it would be nice to post a few photos from our wonderful Sea Dream cruise in February for Mom and Dad Glazer's 60th birthdays. We had a great time celebrating with family and friends

What a view in St. Barts

Champagne, caviar, the beach and the ship

Not sure what is going on here but it looks kind of funny!

Well it has been a while since I updated this page (mostly because Rachel is quite busy telling you what Zach and I are up to) However in light of our recently wonderful vacation to Atlantis in the Bahamas, I felt I should put something on this page (mostly because Rachel wasn't there so she can't write about it)

As many of you have already heard, Zach and I went on a shark dive in Nassau - it was all his idea and I did not want to get off the boat. But I sucked it up and accompanied him and about a dozen others even though I was terrified of losing an arm. We were joined by more than 50 sharks...many of whom you can see below.

(thank you Fin Photo for the wonderful photography -
you even captured my insane fear and underwater hyperventilating!)

So the fact that I am writing to you lets you all know the sharks did not eat us however I will stick to diving only with small fish from this point forward.

Other than that our vacation was great - we enjoyed the sun, the pools, the beach, the waterslides, the shopping, the restaurants, our upgraded suite on the top level of the Royal Towers and especially the casino - where I won $200 and have a new found love of craps!

Lastly I will close with this beautiful photo of the view from our room:

On September 4th 2004, at 12:52 A.M., Rachel Devorah Glazer was born.

She weighed 7 pounds, 2 ounces, and was 19 and 1/2 inches long.

She is a beautiful healthy baby.

She is now home, and has her own section on our website.

Be sure to check it out!

Well it has been a busy couple of weeks since we last updated. We finished our Lamaze class and found a pediatrician for Baby Glazer. We had our first “dinner party” at the new house when Uncle Ike and Aunt Edith were in town, Zach hosted his first poker game (and won $200 – woohoo) We also had our first BBQ in the new house which was a lot of fun. Then we spent the week up in Chautauqua – which was really nice and quite relaxing. Meredith learned calligraphy and Zach had initially signed up for a watercolor class – which ended up being a disaster – so he switched to some Power Gliding class (see photo below) All in all (even though some say the weather wasn’t optimal but Meredith thought it was perfect) a great time! Baby Glazer definitely enjoyed all of the live music she heard – from Beethoven to the Beach Boys.

We have been watching a lot of the Olympics coverage (they have it 24 hours a day on the High Definition channel so you all know what Zach will be doing for the next 2 weeks) and have now become pretty obsessed with the reality show Big Brother (thank you Chapnicks!!!!) It still takes second to Survivor but I think it is up there past American Idol.

Other than that – not much else going on – Baby Glazer is slated to be here 4 weeks from today. The doctor says everything looks great and despite all of Meredith’s fears after seeing those graphic videos of deliveries in Lamaze class – the baby is facing the right way – which is a relief!!!

Congratulations to our friends Todd, Janet and Sarah Tenenbaum on the birth of their son/little brother Ryan Dean Tenenbaum. We don’t know when we will get out to Denver to see him but we will look forward to getting pictures and hearing all of the good news.

Lastly – Happy 65th Birthday to Steve Kaplan tomorrow – August 17th (or as Lori calls him “Mr. Kaplan Sir”) Zach will be cooking tomorrow night in honor of the festivities – and as luck would have it – the new GE cook top is arriving in the morning. Meredith is baking cousin Diane’s SOON TO BE AWARD WINNING CHOCOLATE CAKE so it will be a great night!

After putting it off for many weeks, Zach has finally posted the pictures from our trip to Italy. Head over to the photo page to check them out!

We have also updated the "Baby Glazer's Friends" page with several more of her friends (even though they have not met)

Once the house is fully organized, we will post pictures of 3990 West Ash as well.

Well it has been a crazy 10 days for us.  The move went great and almost everything was unpacked the day after we moved (thanks to our wonderful family) So now we are trying to get everything organized and put in the right place – which we will hopefully finish soon.  The new house is wonderful and we love our new neighborhood.  Our neighbors have brought over cookies and stopped by to meet us - (plus for those of you Beachwood Bison alumni - Mr. Overbeke lives 2 doors down and has asked Zach to go golfing and play in his poker game).

Also – the buyers of our old house called on Tuesday the 20th and asked to move the closing up to Thursday the 22nd – so we officially closed on our old house last week – which is a great relief to only own 1 home.

Denise and Adam had their baby last Tuesday – his name is Logan Gill Scheffler and he is adorable!!!  (We will post his picture soon)  We know that he and Baby Glazer will hit it off as soon as they meet.  Mom, dad, Jadyn and baby are doing great.

A while back in November, we were introduced to this couple Jenn and Andy – who happen to live in Orangewood 4 streets down from us.  They are expecting a baby in early December and Jenn has organized a group of 7 girls who are all due from Sept – January to go to lunch and hang out.  So Meredith has been having lots of fun with them as they talk about pregnancy and playgroups that the kids will be in together.

Meredith is feeling great – only 7 more weeks to go!  Time is going by fast and September 13th will be here before we know it!

Tomorrow is moving day for us and it was the best idea in the world to have Weiss Movers pack us - what would have taken us weeks and weeks was done in 1 day by our 3 great packers. We will be offline until Monday when they hook the internet up in the new house - which by the way looks fantastic. All of the work is done and it looks like a totally different place - we are really excited to get in there and hope all of you will stop by to see us or come in town and visit soon. Here is our new information...
