Happy Chanukah

Greetings all – ‘tis the season to be jolly! I was only 3 months old last year during the holiday season and although I remember having a really nice Chanukah – it doesn’t even compare to this year (and we are only on the third night!)

So far the past week has been mixed with parties, good food and lots of presents!!!! I have been spinning lots of dreidels, reading holiday cards, eating latkes and gelt, (and Nana’s yummy cookies), visiting with family (Grandma and Grandpa even came in from Florida!), playing with friends and opening presents. I got to play in the snow for the first time, I kissed a boy and did I mention the presents yet? I am so excited we have 5 more nights!!!

My ear is all better, I have another molar coming in, I have enough hair to wear a clip (though it is a really tiny clip) and I love to explore – no wonder I love Dora so much!!

A couple of news items to mention before I go:

Nana and Papa celebrated their 40th Anniversary last night so Mazel Tov again to them and my cousin Taylor is going to be a big sister so that means I will have a new cousin next summer!

Happy Holidays!

I am quite the snow bunny

Wow - look at all the presents - which one should I open first?

Can you tell I love to read? Here we are on Nana & Papa's Anniversary

Hello from cold and snowy Cleveland

Hope you are all having a great December. I am doing pretty good (except for having an ear infection which has made me a bit crabby) It has been a really fun month so far - mommy and daddy went on a little vacation (check out the family news page) and I got to stay 2 nights with Nana, Papa and Nana Bee and then 2 nights with Grandma and Grandpa. I had a great time and lots of fun with all of them. But I was really glad when mommy and daddy came back because I missed them a lot! (even though I was kind of mean to mommy for a few days) I also had my 15 month check up at the doctor and a few shots - which weren't so bad and will hopefully prevent me from getting chicken pox and measels and other fun things like that. I am 29 inches long and will soon be hitting 20 pounds on the scale (currently I am 19 lbs & 12 ounces)

Other highlights so far for this month were the Mason’s Holiday Party at Chuck E. Cheese, going to Severance Hall for the Cleveland Orchestra Chanukah Musical Rainbow concert with Cam and Jack and Ryan Streem’s birthday party.

I have lots of new teeth – I think I am up to 8 now. (including 2 of my molars) My new favorite word is apple and I am having lots of fun exploring wherever I go.

I am really excited for Chanukah – it is going to be so great to celebrate the holiday with my family and friends.

Well enjoy the pictures – it is bedtime for me!

I love to eat with a spoon!
